“A Drummed Beat”

It use to be so important that I go along and try to fit in with the In Crowd

Their voices overtaking the Answers only found in silence, cacophonous opinions, dissonant and loud

I had to be honest with my Self and admit that what I always heard before

No longer fit the boundaries of my Being; no longer resonates within me anymore

“Beautiful One, sit and be Still,” my

Spirit said

So I sat and allowed my Self to be

inner led

“Are you marching and moving

just for the sake

Of the approval of others and the

temporary sound it makes?”

A Sound that does not match the movement of

my forward feet

My Spirit is Growing

Flowing

Self-Acceptance is an Inner Knowing

A Called for Response: Are & Be Ready for

a Brand New Beat

Now, I no longer question my Inner Direction

What a Blessing to know where I am coming from

When you march in the positive direction of the beat of your own heart and the perfect sound of your own drum!
